Mathematicians In Training (MIT) for grades 6-8
The MIT plan uses the Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract (CPA) model to teach problem-solving skills of non-routine problems to grade school students. This class will cover topics such as ratios, proportions, percent, decimals, and fractions. This course is ideal for students who need a visual way to solve non-routine word problems.
1 on 1 Tutoring for grades 3-8
The 1- on 1 Tutoring Plan is created primarily for students who need homework help under the guidance of a tutor. The tutor will meet twice per week (minimum) through an online platform (Zoom or Microsoft Teams). Expert Mathematics tutor work one-on-one with your child in a safe learning environment to develop strong foundational skills.
